The company as a whole has a truly remarkable system that allows the technician to get certified for so many different opportunities through Critter Control on the Internet. It is a very thorough guide and has hundreds of chapters worth of information that is very easily accessible and even allows for comments to be made by techs that have already passed. The reason why I'm giving one star is because I was 'On The Job' trained for the first 2 weeks, but I was never told about this system until I had worked for the company for 3 full years, meaning that I basically trained myself through mistakes made on the job, and then was able to get the information I needed too late. Also, this owner treats training more like an opportunity for the technician, rather than something mandatory. His idea of teaching is printing out pages from CritterControl.com and handing them to us and telling us to read them, no test, no follow through. The same concept goes for the Internet training. After literally 4 months of begging him to let me get certified he gave us our passwords and login information and never mentioned it again. I was the only technician that worked for Orange or San Diego County that was certified because no other technician cared. He made me half train other technicians that were hired, but didn't ever take the time to train them himself and when I let him know that they were having difficulty making progress he blamed me for not training them properly.
