Overseas, health and dental care is more expensive, not to mention, not everybody speaks English. Additionally, factor in the conversion rate from being paid in USD to the EURO and the coverage offered by the company to the rank and file employee isn't so good. Of course the upper tier suits are far better taken care of than the rank and file.
