Health Insurance

Insurance offerings are limited, and out-of-pocket monthly costs are higher than other companies I've worked at. Only one package (a special type of HMO which is restrictive and has high co-pays and/or deductible limits) comes with the HRA, but any other does not.

Harvard Pilgrim (one of the best in the nation) with fairly low deductible.

Seems to be in alignment to what other tech companies offer

I liked the access to top care that their plans gave me and my family.

Regular HMO and high-deductible HMO are offered. The deductible is partly subsidized; but, the processing of claims in this plan is messy. Access to MIT Medical Department is getting diluted. Premiums for those working outside Cambridge are expensive.

The health insurance is a little expensive but covers everything. Based out of MA so sometimes there are hoops to jump through when using it out of state.
