Duke has a wonderful retirement plan.

Great retirement plan for those that got into the company early.

Not available for new people.

if you got in before they ended the pension good for you, if not 10% 401k match

Cash balance pension. Think this is no longer available.

The retirement plans have changed a lot but have very basic and stable options

I think 100% of the first 6% the employee contributes is good, and an additional 4% on top is good.

Great to have a pension plan in addition to a 401k.

Your retierment plan is preaty much what you can accumilate in your 401k plan. don't rely to much on the company to pay out but a fraction of what someone should get for 30+ years of service.My brother military retierment plan is much better than what Duke offers.
