Disability Insurance

Employees are automatically enrolled in company-paid short-term salary continuation benefits at no cost. This plan provides a 60% disability income replacement benefit up to a maximum of $1,500 weekly and a maximum of 12 paid weeks. Benefits are provided through Unum Life Insurance and commence following a 7-day elimination period.

Employees are automatically enrolled in company-paid long-term salary continuation benefits at no cost. This plan provides 60% of monthly covered earnings up to a maximum benefit of $10,000 a month. The coverage provides benefits if you are unable to work due to illness or injury beyond 90 days (this coverage begins after you exhaust short-term disability).
