I had the ability to leave a portion of my retirement to my daughter, for her entire life.

Think it’s tied to 401(k) at this point

Have not compared to others.

Offered to long-term employees. Has been ended for newer hires.

The pension plan (a defined benefit pension plant) is great for existing employees who are grandfathered into the plan but it is no longer offered to new employees. New employees can only participate in the 401K plan with a small company match.
