Recently enacted a real Work From Home policy (not sure if this is Atlanta area only or company-wide). 2 days WFH are allowed for anyone. Can do additional WFH days with manager approval, but will result in loss of permanent assigned desk space. There are temporary desks for majority WFH employees that sit empty 100% of the time.
I know several employees who WFH every day.

I'm able to work remotely at my discretion and in concert with communication with my manager.

I personally do not prefer to work from home, but the option for a day at a time is helpful. I would not choose to do this full time, but many peers and co-workers do and it works well for them.
