GE strives to provide competitive employee benefits packages in the regions and industries in which we have a presence. Our wide range of employee services, retirement, health and other benefit plans are designed to help eligible employees make the best decisions for themselves, their family, and their lifestyle.
The benefits at GE use to be absolutely amazing, but then they cut the pension vesting all together and the healthcare plan became a high deductible plan focused on preventative care. 401k matching was very good. Vacation time was reasonable. Believe there were a lot of other opportunities / resources for employees as the company is so large, but never used them.

There is plenty of vacation time offered. There aren't too many restrictions on when it can be used. great place to work.

best is employer contribution to 401k regardless of your contribution as well as low cost of benefits

Overall, the benefits are great. The Health insurance packages have decreased over the decades (like most companies). Good 401k. Good amount of vacation.

Health Insurance is the worst benefit. Time off is a close second since there is an expectation that you will work around the clock.

They used to match your 401k contribution up to 10%
