Managers do not train you to advance, only train you to do your job and cross trained for other jobs at your pay level.

At first they were great at training but with new management and hectic schedules the new people basically had to fend for themselves and most of them did not do well because of that and many people quit because of this.

Job training is not consistent. Managers/supervisors generally place a "new hire" with someone that they feel knows the job. However, that is not always the case. The managers/supervisors need to realize that the associates are only as good as "how and what' their training consists of. The best training that Columbus has is "Heidi" who trains all of the bartenders and servers! She is awesome!
