Health Insurance

The worst part of IBM's Health Insurance is the continuous double digit increases. Although 2016 premiums remain unchanged, for the prior 8 years premiums for a family of 4 were increasing anywhere from $400 to $1800 per year. IBM used to have best of breed (low copays, etc). Now everyone is being push to the High Deductibles with the higher co payments.

not terrible but not great either

Several options. All of them cheap. Once you add dependents, some of them can get expensive (if you want the best coverage for all your family). Nevertheless, there are still cheap options for dependents.

The best thing is the wide variety of choices to select from

Lots of choices, fair price. Have never had an issue with it.

I paid more then my previous employer and the deductibles are higher.

Constantly increasing cost of employee contribution; limited dental coverage.

They do have decent options for health Insurance, especially kaiser.
