Work From Home

Depending on the work it was available while I was traveling and that helped me a lot

For GBS consultants, we do not need to report to an office when not at a client site. We are welcome to work from home on Fridays or when on the bench.

Pretty flexible but depends on job/manage I would imagine.

Work from home is a great benefit offered... but I am hearing it is being phased out...

In my 16 year experience, I never worked in an office for IBM

IBM's work from home no longer pays for these things: internet service, phone/fax line (yes companies still ask for fax documents), printers, ink for printer, secondary monitors, or docking stations. Computers are refreshed every 4 years. Cell phones and service is included with unlimited voice and data.

Worked from.home for five years. It was ideal when I had a small child. It eventually got isolating.

IBM has some positions that allow for work from home.

IBM no longer pays for any expenses for working at home.
