CBT or computer base training is the way of teaching people. it is good to certain degree. Real customer service is a learn behavioral process.

When hired at Kohl's you will begin your training on the computer they give you computer-based training for the first shift following that you going to a training mode on the register and following that shift you are left alone. Overall they could be a lot better with their training methods.

Biggest shortcoming of KOHLS.
Too much computer and paper training. Most managers are inept at teaching or coaching. Too many times I've heard my district and store manager tell me and others to "just figure it out"

Was given lots of opportunities to connect with others during training. Many opportunities to continue to learn and grow on a daily basis.

was told I would be with a cashier being trained for the first 5 days and I only had 4 hours of training before I was put on a cash register by myself.
