From competitive pay and benefits to flexible work schedules and financial tools, at Lockheed Martin we show our appreciation for your skills, ambitions and potential.
In the eleven years I've been with the company they continue to reduce benefits, but then try to sell it as though it is an improvement. It's not, never has been... They say it's stay competitive, but what do the execs make? What is a truly a a sacrifice to someone already making millions? I'd say it's less even if it's a percentage... your probably still going to be able to afford your trip around the world or whatever that check affords you... mine won't... Costco is getting it now, only way to keep up with your down sizing.

There has been alot of buzz around the office as LM recently got rid of their pension...not that I had one anyways. This was more of a legacy perk. I've had pretty good success with LM's capital accumulation plan. They do not match 1:1 but they do give us something. I've used our employee discounts a bunch and the valet service is awesome. Also, work/life balance is definitely possible, if you want it. I work from home all the time and take my vacation regularly. One point that does bother me-- we do not get some standard holidays off such as Veteran's Day. Not sure how that decision was made as a defense contractor. Seems counter-intuitive.

Middle of the road. Lacking pension and below level medical coverage. Vacation has decreased.

Benefits package includes 401(k), medical, dental and vacation days. Downside of vacation, must be at LM for over 5 years before getting more than 2 weeks. Previous experience is not credited.

Nothing to complain about. Plenty of vacation. Good salary. Good insurance. I have not found similar pay and benefits with any company since.

Since Lockheed's primary client is the government, employees get a sweet deal (almost as good as our honorable military personnel)

Overall a very comprehensive and good benefits package is offered at Lockheed Martin. Lacking some of the "pizzaz" of the startups in the area, but the benefits are god for a company with the size and expanse Lockheed Martin has.
