From competitive pay and benefits to flexible work schedules and financial tools, at Lockheed Martin we show our appreciation for your skills, ambitions and potential.
Benefits continue to decrease. No pension, terrible HDHP. Sadly this kind of thing never improves for the benefit of the employees. I'll be surprised if in 15-20 years corporations will even offer health benefits. On the other hand, 401k contributions are pretty good compared to a lot of companies out there at a total of 10%, although it probably gets made up by lower raises over time. Vacation starting at 3 weeks per year is nice. 40 hr limit on sick time per year sucks for people that have young kids.

pay a lot out of weekly paycheck for annual physical checkup. if anything else, pay 100% out of pocket until meet the very high deductible. work schedule isn't flexible anymore, 9/80 schedule is nice. but you are required to make up hours within a week or they will deduct it from your vacation directly. 401k is normal for defence industry, but not compare to many other larger engineering firms outside of defence. employee discount option is crappy as well. the only reason keep me here is how good my current team is, but would not hesitate too much to move if I find other interesting opportunity at a location I like.

They automatically contribute to your savings plan a certain percentage of your pay (but that percentage is not deducted from your pay). There is no matching required.

Benefits are industry average. Health plan recently switched to HDHP with HSA.

As of 2018 the health care plan is bad and negates most other benefits. It is enough to make me consider employment elsewhere. 401k match up to 8%, decent vacation, flexible work schedule.

2018 health plan is horrible. LM claims that all companies are doing it but that is not true. As a young, single, healthy person, I pay more out of each paycheck and also have to pay 100% of all medical expenses until I reach my high deductible.

Sadly, for a highly profitable company, current healthcare benefits are sub-par and on the decline.

Just went to a High Deductible Health insurance plan. Far more expensive than the previous offering. I'm paying at least 4x more for every service.

High deductible, with health savings account (HSA). The company managing the benefits never give the same answer to the same question.
