"50% match up to 8%, plus 6% on top, for a grand total of 10%. This is outstanding and I do not know of anyone who tops that. If you make $100 and max out your 401k, you're putting away $28k a year."

There are no bonuses at all, but there are other benefits such as a great savings plan, stock options, health and Dental are good, not the best but good

3 weeks paid vacation + holidays, sick time as needed. 9/80 work schedule allows flexibility.

Good work life balance, so rarely over 40-45 hours per week. 401k contributions up to 8% are matched at 50%.

Good 401K but it's the same with all the big corporation. Match up to 5%

Wage determination protection under the Davis Bacon and Service Contract acts. They didn't pay DBA as they should have for painting or pipe fitting alterations and they never calculated the SCA fringe benefits correctly; but it was close enough for the lazy and politically appointed officials down at the local DOL. At least it kept them mostly honest anyway.

Best things are (retirement fund if just starting a career I suggest doing the roth (look it up first); you pay taxes now so that when you are able to pull it out in your older age you know exactly how much you have and aren't paying the tax rate then.

3 weeks per year of PTO starting. The 9/80 schedules allows you to have every other Friday off, which is the best perk. The 401k matching is 50% up to 8% of your paycheck.

The LMHealthworks package does not seem to be as convenient to use as some prior options such as Kaiser Permanente HMO. Obviously structured differently, but KP's interface is much more intuitive than Aetna (which administers the Healthworks package for Lockheed).
