Solid 401K with 50% matching up to 8% (put in 8%, get 4%). Generous vacation that starts at 3 weeks plus holidays.

Nothing offered up front, so had to find out about all possibilities by questioning and coworkers.

the health care went from pretty good to less pretty good recently. worst thing is you might have certain flexibility with hours but that can be taken away by customer if you work on site

The benefits at Lockheed are really exceptional (although they have been getting more expensive). The health insurance is pretty much unbeatable. They offer full health, vision, and dental. The time off is sufficient because employees are already getting off for every government holiday as well as off every other Friday (you will work 9.5 hours days for this luxury). They definitely take care of their employees in this respect.

Decent benefits package for interns, but pale in comparison when compared to tech companies like facebook, dropbox,google,amazon.etc

Lockheed Martin has dropped their contiued contributions to the employees pension as of 2016. This has been a huge demotivation for employees who wanted to retire with Lockheed Martin. Things like education assistance, health plans and company discounts are still very good with Lockheed Martin.
