Three plans and each of them have high deductibles and again high monthly payments. Employer contribution is extremely low for their industry resulting in the employees taking on more expenseses.
Logical Position
We cover 70% of the cost of insurance for the majority of our employees and have multiple plans to meet varying needs. We use Regence/Blue Cross Blue Shield and we have increased our coverage amount every year as rates continue to rise. We have absorbed the industry annual increase to keep the cost down for employees. Looking at total comp, we are very competitive in the market but still plan to continue to reduce the cost and improve the benefits every year.
