The discount for courses at MIT was pretty substantial, though I still had to pay about half of the book value of the course which was somewhat annoying (and due to a non-standard payment arrangement where 1/2 of my salary came from a grant at a separate institution).

It's a mixed bag of things you might just as easily find better rates for on groupon. However the 10% off any Ford vehicle is unusual.
