The BCBS plan is quite comprehensive.

Expensive, but worth the cost.

The best was the on campus hospital, which has lots of talented doctors. There is little to say against the system, it works great.

You can choose from 2 plans. I chose the more expensive but more flexible option: Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO Blue New England, so I could keep my lifelong doctor who is in CT. There is no deductible, and insurance covers basically everything except co-payments. For example, if you went to the ER in an ambulance and had to stay overnight and have surgery, you would only pay a $100 copay for everything. My significant other had a recent ER visit and overnight stay, and had to pay $3000 out of pocket to meet his deductible. Many employees put their spouses and family members under their MIT Health Insurance because it is that good. We get separate vision and dental insurance as well.
