While I wish I got in before the switch to defined contribution, MetLife does offer a pension plan in addition to their 401k savings program and I'm happy to have it.

What retirement plan. This is only beneficial if you make any compensation. Just for the haves and not for the have nots.

Normal run of the mill retirement plan for a Fortune 50 company. Put a little in, get a little out. There were no actual hardened benefits short of what you invest.

I was able to enroll into their 401K plan. By having an employer matching percentage, it encouraged me to join. I think that is very important.

There is not retirement plan for agents, in most cases you would build a book of business and be able to sell that. With Met you have to just walk away.
