Sick Leave

Sick and vacation time pooled together as PTO.

sick day and vacation time are combined.

These are part of the PTO policy. Once PTO is used, there are 5 additional days of extended sick leave provided.

You got 15 days off but was encourage to attend work especially if there was an event ( even around the people served which I find irresponsible)

Sick day policy was recently changed. Employees used to have 10 days a year and it was definitely taken advantage of. Now employees accumulate 5 per year and they roll over and can only be used for extended leave (5 days or more at a time with proof from a physician). Poor for maternity leave and actual short-term illness but okay for most everything else.

You get 10 days and can carry over 5.

10 paid sick days per year upon starting is almost unheard of in Tucson. In addition, 2 paid personal days are also given, providing a much-appreciated amount of work/life balance.
