Oracle matches 3% of your contributions.

they only match up to 5 percent and it's kind of annoying because they have a lot to give

They could contribute a bit more for the retirement plan

Other comments about Oracle's 401(k) matching are INCORRECT. It does not match the first 6% of contributions, it only matches HALF of that (that is, only matches 3% of salary). And it limits matching to $5100/yr, regardless of employee contributions. Both are below industry norms. On the bright side, the funds offered in the 401(k) are diverse, and several have very low fees.

401k plan has a solid matching option upto 6%. Contributions from employeer become gradually more vested after every few years becoming fully vested around 4 to 5 years in.

They use Fidelity and have picked some good funds to grow the money.

The best thing is after you join, your 401K's company contribution begins the very next month. There are several companies which has one year cutoff period.
