The discount is a joke, as it is nothing significant. For some tickets and such, you have to pay a premium to get the tickets delivered. So, the discounts become null and void.

There are not many employee discounts. one may buy some some stuff from oracle store. there is this oracle perks card that can get discounts at many places.

Oracle offers so many employee discounts for everything from mobile phone service, to vacations, legal advice, apparel, etc. Most employees don't even know about these benefits as they really aren't broadcast and they reside in a system where only legacy employees know to look.
