The worst thing is that it is hard to determine what individual healthcare items will cost to you, even with provided cost estimation tools, because what you expect to be billed by a provider is often different (usually higher) than what ends up getting billed to you after insurance pays. This means it is hard to know beforehand what things like doctor visits and prescriptions will actually cost you. The best thing is that the premiums are lower than most companies for higher coverage amounts. This means that you get a high "bang for the buck" and I've found that I don't even need the top-of-the-line plan. What I call "throwback health insurance" because it's been many years since I've seen such a great cost-to-benefit health insurance.

It's United Healthcare, so coverage may vary, but it's cheap.
