Health Insurance

It's a major health care provider.

Satisfied with the health insurance options offered when I was brought on as a salaried employee.

Options available on great plans including dental and Eye care

They do have good insurance plans but when you are covered under another plan, there is an additional deduction to your pay check.

The rates have raised over the years and the co-pays are more expensive.

Contract employees get no benefits

They provide a standard health plan of a CDHP for a reduced cost.

Viacom went out and got the worst possible health insurance option for temps/contract employees because they are now required to offer insurance by law. The insurance was double the price with worse benefits than what I was able to get on the market place.

As a staff employee, I've definitely got my money's worth out of it. My co-pay is around $30. That's it.
