All work is from your home. You create your own schedule

WFH was great, but they are looking to get everyone back in the office with the old "We think that we do our best work when we can get together and collaborate in person" slogan. They tried to make it happen in early 2023 and pretty much everyone ignored it. Corporate got us a new building with a huge breakroom that is very well stocked and is really just amazing....but no one wanted it and they had to go the "mandatory hybrid 2 days in the office" route...which has been knocked down to 1 day. Still, they are fairly flexible so long as you are getting your work done. Unfortunately, the contract I was on was an inherited mess of the highest order. The company got it when they purchased Perspecta and no one bothered to look at what a mess it was or how weak the requirements were. So, the troops shoulder the responsibility and work it the best they can under vague leadership with short memories, always fielding the calls for why things are not going faster. This is not unique and not a total bad mark on the company, Just don't believe all the hype about how great they are at "doing the can't be done" because they are no better or no worse than anyone else. Also, there is a supernatural push for DEI that is happening so be prepared to sit through voluntary and required training there.
