Employees at Progressive enjoy a wide range of benefits. We offer medical, dental and vision coverage and a 401(k) plan--with a 6% match. We also offer some unexpected benefits, such as seated massage, lactation rooms, on-site fitness centers ,and health clinics at our larger locations.
We even provide options to help you manage your work-life balance, including non-traditional schedules and work-from-home arrangements. Employees can also take part in a number of programs to succeed in their role and grow their career, including in-house training programs, mentorships, and tuition assistance. It's not surprise that we also offer free employee courses on how to improve their overall health, ranging from stress management to financial health.
And, there are a lot more benefits sprinkled into the mix.
The best thing that saved this company from high turnover was to offer Flex time & Work From Home option (not available for all dept)...Love the 401K plan, Gym, Cafeteria includes a ( subway, starbucks, farmers market). Onsite Gym, Cliniic. the healthcare option is horrid - AETNA is the worst Ins co-saves comp money but horrible med plan. Loved Med Mutual or Cigna much better back in the day, Life Ins for emp/spouse & children is aplus, sick time/vac time/personal time off is all rooled into one which really is horrible. After 10 yrs of employment you only accrue 7.89 of ETB time off per pay period-which like I stated its either your vac or sick time. Funeral days, STD, Maternity leave are granted..other corporate perks, discounts etc are good.

The benefits package is extensive. If working in one of the field offices, many of the items can still be used on a reimbursement basis.

401k Match $ of $ of first 6%. Very flexible work schedule. Very supportive of families. Offers child care subsidy, cash assistance with adoption, tuition reimbursement, health perks. Large amounts of time off that can be banked and rolled over year after year.

The insurance is spectacular, as it is very cheap for great coverage, plus they have an on-site healthcare facility. Having a gym on-site is also a perk. It is easy to build up a good amount of vacation time.

Insurance is cheap, you have to accumulate time off. Even though you are salaried, you must still use vacation time when you call out.
