Promega self-insures. Claims are managed by UMR, but the money comes from Promega. They do this because they believe all of the wellness programs result in Promega employees being a lower risk group, so it saves money by helping employees be healthier.

They have a decent health insurance

Awesome insurance, access to an FSA only

self-funded plan. 2 options, high or low deductible. A lot of places around here seem to accept the insurance. HR will work with you if something health related is not covered.
