I called in to work once and my dm told me to come into work immediately and that i could get fired for not coming into work even though i gave notice before my shift started. I contacted HR and had no response from, them at all to help with this manner.

one day if you have the benefit, can be taken in a 3 month period. They may give it, but don't let you use it.
