Samtec Associates that have completed one month of service are eligible for participation in the Retirement Plan. Enrollment dates are the beginning of each month following eligibility.
- Defer up to 75% of wages pre-tax or under a Roth 401K ($18,000 maximum).
- There is a $6,000 allowable catch-up contribution for Associates age 50 or over.
- After-tax contributions up to 25% are allowed as well.
- Dollar for Dollar company match on the first 5% of contributions after 30 days of service.
- 7% Profit Sharing contributions are made by Samtec (based on gross wages) after 30 days of service.
- 2-year vesting schedule applies to Profit Sharing contributions as follows; 0-2 Year - 0%. 2+ Years - 100%.
