A leave of absence, without pay, will be approved for full-time Associates under the guidelines under USERRA if he/she is required to serve on a tour of duty with the Armed Services. The Associate will be assigned the same or equal position with no break in seniority, provided he/she satisfies the requirements of USERRA after separation or discharge from the Armed Services. The Company will continue payment of the Company's portion of the Associate's medical and dental premiums for a period of 90 calendar days. At the end of 90 days, the Associate will be eligible to continue coverage at his/her own expense for up to 24 months.
An Associate who is a member of a Reserve or National Guard unit may be granted leave without pay to attend the regular training programs (normally 2 weeks). Accrued vacation or personal days may be used for such leave. The associate must present to his/her supervisor the military orders issued to report, including date and time of service.
