Flexible and growing over time

I am happy with the amount of vacation and personal days offered (19 after the first 5 years), but Sentinel gives only 6 holidays. Sentinel should follow industry standards and close the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.

Lots of vacation, personal days, and major holidays

The working hours are strict. You couldn't take an extra 10 minutes at lunch without having to stay 10 minutes late afterwards. It was a rigid an inflexible environment.

Vacation & Personal Days do NOT roll-over yearly. They really want you to use your vacation! Sick time does roll-over yearly. The amounts are fair.

They offer more back to the employee to stay in line with the work/life balance through vacation and paid time off.

Typical accruing of vacation time (2 weeks for a new, salaried employee) which increases after 5 years of service. Four personal days per year (one per quarter). But very few company holidays. Such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, or Christmas Eve (even if it fell on a Friday), were not paid holidays. Neither are some national holidays, like Martin Luther King Day.
