Inside career less business interruption because of a team environment; field career, a bit different, scheduled claims appts would disrupt business but sick days are accumulated. When I retired, I left over 9 months of sick days on the table. Can't take them with you.

You got in trouble for using more than one sick day in a row. I got the flu and took 5 days off once. I tested positive for the flu and had a doctors note. I was still placed on probation. No other reason than excessive sick day use, even though I had the paid time off to use.
