my father got sick and i had to take emergency PTO. The day i left, my boss used that time to find a replacement for me and then let me go the day I came back (Thank God). point being- that time with my father should have NEVER counted as PTO. that is disgraceful. i was also constantly texted by my boss while I was at the hospital on PTO so i guess their PTO ACTUALLY SUCKS!
