We get Free Dental, this will all fall under (SGLI) or Soldiers Group Life Insurance.

Free dental enough said right

Excellent while active. And not too bad after you retire. Not quite as good as the health benefits.

If you have bad teeth, the Army WILL fix that for you.

Out of pocket co-pay for most dental procedures.

This is iffy and depends on the unit and dentist. To be fit for duty you must meet minimum dental standards which are pretty strict. In my units if you needed wisdom teeth removed you would set up an appointment, get them removed and get sent right back to work with a bottle of pain killers.

Full dental plan covers just about anything

One free check up per year. Not always orthodontist work available. Emergency dental is completely free.

Free for service members about $40/ month for families.
