401k contribution could be better. I believe they only do 50 cents on the dollar match. Prior company was dollar for dollar.

Offers both pre-tax or Roth IRAs. Up to 5% contribution with full matching up to 3% and 50% matching for the other 2%. Retirement plan vesting occurs after 3 years o service.

The cash balance cant be claimed if you have not completed 3 years with employer. If someone want to leave before than it is not fair for the employee.

Over the years, the plan has gotten worse. With a company that doesn't really have many perks, this was the last thing they threw out.
