The PTO/PTA members at the schools I worked at were very intentional about making sure that subs get food on special days. This past Teacher Appreciation Week I had four days of free food and several PTO/A members who tracked me down to be certain I received the free food. Several of the days I had two free meals! The support and appreciation of subs is great at UCPS.
