REMOTE
Our team has been fully 100% remote since the spring of 2020, with the exception of twice-yearly in-person retreats.
These programs encourage a healthy remote working environment.
Since going fully remote, we've begun the practice of getting the entire team together twice a year for an in-person retreat that's a combination of working on the business, doing work together, and shared experiences & socializing.
We've set up a regular cadence of touchpoints, including weekly 1:1s with your manager, weekly team-wide (short!) meetings, a weekly virtual coffee-break with a random coworkers, and monthly virtual Taco Tuesday lunches (we buy you lunch wherever you are if you show up online). We're evolving our rituals to keep everyone connected.
We make use of Slack and Google Meet, Docs, Sheets, Jamboards, etc. in addition to email to keep everyone connected and collaborating.
Windmill Strategy official hours are 8:30 AM - 5 M-F Central Time. However, employees may work flexibly on an alternate schedule, consisting of five days totalling 40 hours, covering the core hours of 10 AM through 3:30 PM M-F. Employee agrees to be available via phone and email during official Windmill hours, if working on an alternate schedule.
