After six months, I finally have time to write this review. The entire interview left me with a bad impression. The interviewer was a male and had a very poor attitude. He was overly aggressive during the questioning, continuously asking irrelevant or impolite questions. For example, he repeatedly inquired why I immigrated to the UK, who I came with, and other personal questions that had nothing to do with the position. Since I was unemployed for a while after my previous contract ended, he kept probing into my unemployment situation, including how many interviews I had, how many were successful, and with which companies. When I answered that my previous interviews were unsuccessful, he directly asked why I failed, and why I had failed so many times, which made me feel deeply humiliated. The interview did not use the Competency questions commonly used by UK companies but instead went through my resume line by line. Towards the end of the interview, the interviewer became increasingly impatient, even stretching and playing with his phone while I was answering questions. Overall, the interviewer was unprofessional, constantly asking questions unrelated to the position. I do not believe a normal interview would keep asking personal questions that have nothing to do with the job responsibilities. I hope your company will take this feedback seriously and provide internal training accordingly.
