I was reached out to by a recruiter with 6 River Systems. She was friendly and knowledgeable, and my interest in the niche warehouse automation industry fueled my desire to investigate the opportunity further. I was introduced to the Director in a one on one remote video call, he was wonderful and the opportunity really began to seem like a real possibility. We moved forward over the next two weeks, meeting with different members of the team, all of whom were always willing and available to answer any questions I had that came up. I was offered the job, and was ecstatic. But I was also saddened by the fact that I am with a company currently I truly care about, and I have put so much in to my current position and leaving them was a tough decision I had to make. I did not take the offer from 6 River Systems - but their professionalism, attentiveness, mission and culture made this one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. If my current company didn't fight tooth and nail to keep me, I would be with 6 River Systems WITHOUT A DOUBT. Do not hesitate to work with this team if you have the opportunity to do so.
