      Application

      I applied online. I interviewed at 6sense

      Interview

I applied for the role through LinkedIn. Within a few weeks days, I got an automated email asking to submit time slots for a phone screen. I responded then and contacted by the recruiter pretty quickly. She recommended that I move on to speak with the hiring manager. I had a Zoom interview with the hiring manager a few days later. I thought it went well pretty well and nothing stood out to me as bad. I expressed my interest in the role and asked about next steps. She told me they were in the early stages of the interview process and that they hoped to have the req closed by the end of the month (approximately 2 weeks.) She also stated the recruiter would reach out to me on next steps. Flash forward to about 1.5 hours after the Zoom interview, I get a canned email response that I wasn’t going to be moving forward in the interview process. If you made your mind up so quickly during the interview why didn’t she just tell me that off the bat as we ended the call? Sending a canned email response right after the interview is worse and rather tacky.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you handle a situation where there was a buyout of another company and employees have questions about their benefit changes? How would you handle that?
