Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why 6 sense?
What would make you succeed in the role?
What makes you different than the average candidate?
Background?
Why did you choose the college you attended?
1) screen call with interviewer. very nice and solid.
2) screen with hiring manager.
3) mock call/demo with hiring manager and offsite manager. if you have any sales experience it's fairly easy if you prep a bit for their company/product.
Pretty straightforward process.
After the mock call/demo they told me they would let me know by friday. They did not get back to me.
Then they would let me know by the following week.
I told them I had another offer waiting for me to decide. The hiring manager called and made a verbal offer. The recruiter sent out a benefits package.
Then.... nothing. When I reached out again, they said the final decision was delayed because an executive was traveling to India. Then it turned out that they needed to have a final meeting to decide.
Then they told me they would be rescinding the offer. They said they did not have the 'requisitions' for a role. (And on LinkedIn the recruiter was congratulating a college grad on the role).
So they made a verbal offer when I told them I needed to let another place know. And then they withdrew that verbal offer and hired a college grad.
I am of course annoyed. But I think it points to a very shady and slimy hiring process that will lie to you to keep you as an option.
Do not recommend.

Interview
Scheduled interview with recruiter. The recruiter called me 10 mins late…did not ask any qualifying questions about my background to see if I was a good fit. When asked about company and what they do, what everyday tasks would be, recruiter seemed unsure of everything. Did not seem to know what the company did itself…I learned more from my own research than from her.

They asked me how I would be with commuting to the city…did not ask any other major interview questions
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 6sense (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
I felt like my interview wasn’t a pleasant experience as a woman, it’s hard enough to break into sales. The hiring manager showed up late, was rude and at one point after reading my assignment I completed, he asked me if someone helped me. I was surprised by that question, which I felt insinuated that I was not capable of completing the assignment myself. Immediately I emailed the recruiter and told them I no longer was interested.
