I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at 6sense (Philadelphia, PA) in Dec 2020
Interview
After an initial screening by the recruiter I was told I had to create an email to a prospect with limited info on the platform then would have to participate in 3-4 more interviews. This is WAY too intense and not a great candidate experience for a 55k entry level position. SDR positions are very in demand right now , make it easier for applicants.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
asked my experience in sales and salary expectations
Had an a phone screening which seemed to go well. Asked to do an email assignment case study before speaking to hiring manager. Which is pointless to be honest because how can one write an effect email if they aren't trained on the proper "copy" for cold email . Received an email 24 hours later saying they wont be removing with my application. Stop giving pointless homework which is going to waste someones time. People have to be trained on the job to have an idea on how to write effective email copy unless they've done it in that capacity before . WASTE OF TIME
