I was referred in by a current employee.
-Initial phone screen with recruiting. Austin should honestly be in Sales cause he had me sold on the product based on his enthusiasm.
-Interview with direct manager. Very conversational which put me at ease and I think allowed me to truly be myself.
-Presentation of a topic of choice. I was a little nervous for this one but it ended up being fun to do and led to interesting conversations with the panel.
-Final interview with the VP of the department. Job ended up pivoting to something way more aligned with my background and that was determined through a human-to-human conversation which was awesome.
It did take a while to get the written offer but Austin kept me informed. It did impact my start date a little but it was due to them advocating for a higher salary so I have no problem with that!
