      Enterprise Account Executive Interview

      Mar 13, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at 6sense

      Interview

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, and I shared my number and personal email. We had a call the next day, but he seemed somewhat unengaged. I provided an overview of my experience and role, and he mentioned he’d speak with the hiring managers and follow up. I had a feeling it was a no, which was fine, but he didn’t communicate that directly on the call. The worst part was that he sent the rejection email titled "6sense Application" to my work email, which logs in Gong and Salesforce. I never "applied", he reached out to me. I followed up from my personal email, giving him a chance to acknowledge the mistake, but he didn’t address it. Overall, it was a very negative experience.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at 6sense in Mar 2026

      Interview

The interview process itself was fairly straight forward, but made a bit confusing by constant changes that were occurring at 6Sense. The process started with an initial recruiter screen followed by a manager meeting. I met with the same manager a second time and then 6Sense went dark for a few weeks. When I heard back, they shared that there had been a restructure and I was introduced to a new Head of Sales. I had an additional call with him and was moved to the final round which was a presentation. The presentation was a 45minute call (30minutes presenting, 10-15 for feedback/questions) and included the Head of Sales and brand new hiring manager. Following this final step I never heard back from 6Sense and when I followed up with the recruiter I had been working with her email was no longer active. Conceptually, the interview process was good but the lack of communication and transparency from the hiring team are representative of internal instability and a lack of professionalism.

      Interview

There was a 30 min Recruiter call, followed by two interviews with the sales director. The interviews were conversational and overall a good experience. However they ending up completely ghosting rather than providing any updates or feedback.
