I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 7-Eleven in Oct 2021
Interview
I applied for a Front End Developer position (React).
The first step is an assessment on a site called imocha which was somewhat difficult because the questions were timed individually and were very broad technology-wise (not React focused). My recruiter mentioned that most people fail the assessment. I didn't.
The second interview was with a team lead and a manager. The manager seemed annoyed from the start. I was shown a form on a web page and asked to create it on a sandbox site.
I had the form elements and state management coded in a few minutes(!) and was about to add the logic.
The manager stopped me from working, mentioned she had done four interviews that day, and seemed quite annoyed. She then said she observed me struggling (I was not), and prompted the lead to agree with her assessment, which he seemed to do reluctantly. The manager then rudely commented, "if you're going for React positions you should prepare better."
As a person of color, I have experienced various degrees of disrespect and negative attitudes on interviews. After reading about 7-Eleven's lack of diversity, this experience didn't surprise me.

Interview
Technical questions are asked involving the specific field of software. For me, iOS was the main topic. I was also asked to write Leetcode in a separate Swift online IDE.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at 7-Eleven (Bengaluru) in Sep 2024

The interview process consisted of three rounds:
Technical Round 1: Moderate difficulty

The interview process consisted of three rounds. The first technical round was of average difficulty and focused on core concepts. The second technical round included coding questions and was also moderate. The final managerial round mainly evaluated logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
