Initial call was a screening with the recruiter. Then with the hiring manager, where I was given general information about the job, asked about my background, and a little background about peers. Everything went well and was moved to the next phase, where I interviewed with the Interim Assistant controller. Very quick and impersonal. But I get it, she was thrown into the interview. After a week of not hearing anything, I reached out to the recruiter. No word. Absolutely nothing. It’s been almost 3 weeks since my email to the recruiter asking for an update. It’s unfortunate that this is how 8x8 treats their candidates. I invested time, taking time out of my working schedule to interview, only to be ghosted without a “Sorry, we’ve decided not to move forward…” email. Very unprofessional.
