Recruiter conversations were great initially. Scheduling followup interviews was fast and easy. All 5 interview conversations went very well. Then all of sudden, weeks of nothing. No updates unless I followed up. Despite their enthusiasm and talk about "doing what's right" and hiring this role fast, at the end of the day they will forget about the candidate if you're not the #1. Radio silence for months and an auto generated no-reply email rejection email despite what was thought to be a solid rapport with recruiter and team. Unfortunate they get thrown in the bucket with all the other companies that don't care about the candidate experience and further perpetuate the negativity and disrespect that applicants face with the effort and time they put into their applications. Oh well. Life goes on. Just beware of the rose colored glasses companies try to suck you in until they cast you aside with no closure.
