Interview
Application form, followed by a document review assessment and competency-based interview. Final interview with head of the LSC. The document review exercise was challenging to complete in the time frame given so be aware of your time management there. The first interview was the more relaxed of the two, being more focused on you, your skills and what you can bring to the firm. The second interview was much more intense; this interview was a test of your ability to remain calm in stressful situations. There were questions that I didn't know the answer to, and I would avoid trying to blindly guess the answer as opposed to just being honest with them, as they will appreciate that much more than waffling. This interview also tested my knowledge of law, applied to every-day business situations.

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at A&O Shearman (Belfast, Northern Ireland)
Interview
The interview process was very long. Initial application, situational judgement test, maths test, English test, work simulation and finally an interview with competency and situational questions. I received a phone call a month or so after the interview to be told that they were no longer offering the job.

Interview
5 stages spanning from January to offer in may. Application form, psychometric testing, online test and then a final stage interview with two senior associates. Interview was 1 hour long and a mix of competency based questions with normal interview questions.
