AACR Senior Coordinator interview questions

worst interview process I've ever experienced. I was called by someone in HR to set up a phone interview. It became clear that she was calling regarding a different position. I clarified the position I was applying for and she informed me that they made an "executive" decision that I qualified for a different position. This position was also $10,000 less. She then stated that I could discuss this position in more detail with the hiring manager. I agreed and then was scheduled a phone interview. No no called me at the scheduled time or emailed me with regrets. I followed up twice, with no response. So unprofessional. Its scary to think thousands of dollars are being donated to this organization.
